Blue Card Information Sessions
Free Online Info Sessions!
Every month Blue Card Services hosts a series of information sessions to help community members and organisations better understand the blue card system.
There are three session that cover the following:
- The blue card check: This session focuses on the eligibility and assessment requirements for blue card screening, when a person cannot apply, why linking applicants and card holders is critical, and why organisations should not make everyone get a blue card.
- Safeguarding children: Child and Youth Risk Management Strategies: This session provides organisations with information about how to develop and implement an effective child and youth risk management strategy in line with the legislation to better protect children.
- Benefits of the Organisation Portal: This session is for organisations who want to learn more about the benefitsof the Blue Card Services Organisation Portal and how it can help them to meet their blue card obligations.
During these sessions there is plenty of time to ask the team questions, and they will share relevant links and resources for you to share within your organisation.
