READY.SET.PADDLE: Term 3

Paddle Queensland is excited to announce the return of READY.SET.PADDLE, a fun, welcoming and entry-level paddling program designed to help people of all ages and abilities feel confident, safe and excited on the water.

Delivered across Term 3 (15 July – 16 September) and Term 4 (7 October – 9 December), the program provides participants with a supportive introduction to paddling through structured weekly sessions at the SYC Oxenford Watersports Centre.

READY.SET.PADDLE is part of Paddle Queensland’s growing participation pathway under the Paddle Forward 32 strategy, helping more young people discover the enjoyment of paddling while developing confidence, safety awareness and fundamental skills on the water.

The program includes:

• 10 x 1-hour sessions delivered during school terms
• Qualified Paddle Australia instructors and coaches
• All paddling equipment provided
• A safe, sociable and supportive environment
• Games and activities focused on fun and experiential learning
• Connections to future paddling pathways and local clubs

Safety remains a top priority, with all deliverers holding relevant Paddle Australia qualifications, Working with Children Checks and current First Aid certification.

Whether participants are completely new to paddling or looking to build confidence on the water, READY.SET.PADDLE offers the perfect place to begin.
