Maroochy River Paddle Post Race Report

This year’s Maroochy River Paddle was run in reverse, from Eudlo Creek to Dunethin Rock, giving paddlers the benefit of the tide.

Perfect weather and a scenic course made for enjoyable racing, supported by three club safety boats. Some participants also took up the camping option, adding to the community feel.

While a date clash affected dragon boat entries and the Coast Guard’s availability, the event still drew a diverse field.

Caloundra Pacific Rotary provided delicious BBQ burgers, and the weekend received positive feedback, reinforcing the event’s value for the paddling community.
