Moody Civil & Pipe Wave Break Island Challenge
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the inaugural Gold Coast Paddlesports, Moody Civil & Pipe Wave Break Island Challenge where will see junior, senior and master paddlers test their skills against mother nature and their mates on a range of passive craft including kayaks, surf skis, stand up paddle boards and outrigger canoes on the Gold Coast Broadwater.
The Wave Break Island Challenge consists of two courses:
Short Course. 6 km around Wave Break Island: for paddlers who are early in their paddling journey.

Long Course. 13 km around Crab Island: for those more seasoned intermediate to advanced paddlers who constantly paddle in more challenging conditions for periods of up to 2 hours.
