I hope you are doing well during the current times.
While the worst of the weather seems to be behind us, the ongoing effects to the community are still likely to be felt over the next month.
We are aware some of our member clubs have been heavily impacted during the weekends events and will be cleaning out club houses and their homes over the coming weeks.
Due to the current and forecasted conditions during the State Championships and to ensure the safety of our members, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Canoe Sprint and Canoe Marathon Championships until later in the year. Further information will be supplied shortly.
For paddlers wishing to represent Queensland at the upcoming National Championships, please email qld@paddle.org.au.
Make sure you stay up to date on local weather warnings and stay out of the water until conditions have returned to normal.
