Gone Bush, Forever Paddling.
It is with great sadness that we are advising the paddling community of the passing of Life Member Mr Keith Alan Bromham.
Keith passed away peacefully on January 16 and was an avid marathon racer who enjoyed canoe touring, boiling the billy or sipping a rum by the open fire.
Keith was a club representative with the Fitzroy and Maryborough Canoe Clubs and in 1997 was made a Life Member for his long and valued Service to the sport of Canoeing.
Family and friends are invited to attend a gathering in his honour at the Lamington Hotel, 33 Ferry Street Maryborough this Saturday the 22nd of January between 2 and 4pm.
In addition to the local wake, there will be a camping weekend to spread his ashes on a river. Date and location to be advised.
